Live and study with your own private teacher
WHY?
Because you “live” in the language and you learn without even realizing it. As soon as you wake up, the lesson begins, from breakfast to the end of the day. All conversations and social activities are in italian and I guide you and correct your mistakes throughout the day.
WHERE?
In Ravenna, in the Emilia Romagna region of Italy, near the coast. Ravenna, renowned as the city of mosaics, is a UNESCO Human Heritage Site. In my apartment, that is far too big just for me, you‘ll have your own bedroom with a double bed and private bathroom. 10 minutes from the “centro storico”
WHEN?
Practically the whole year! For 1 week or longer.
WHAT DO I OFFER YOU?
One week together with a student or two (If you want to bring your own partner with the same Italian language level). We have breakfast together, then we learn grammar and vocabulary and practice the pronunciation and the spoken language. In the second part of the day we spend the time together with social activities like excursions, shopping, cooking, going to the beach, to the cinema etc.
WHO AM I?
An Italian female teacher, who has been teaching successfully for 30 years in Germany and in Italy to foreign adults. In that time I organised cooking courses of typical Italian meals. I’m an authorised tourguide with qualification in English and German. With my students I have led more than 30 excursions throughout in Italy.
I will make available, without obligation, photos of the apartment, as well as Ravenna and its surroundings, with prices and information on how to participate in this program. I will provide a detailed personalised programme, according to your level of Italian, your wishes and needs. Upon request, I will provide personal references of my work as a teacher and also of my character.
You can also choose to take advantage of being a live-in and use my services as a your personal tour guide, learn how to cook Italian cuisine, and/or attend mosaic classes, etc. Please contact me at
